Yes you read right. I brought my daughter on another work trip last week to Prince Albert and La Ronge, except that she had a much better time. There was a lot more going on and one of the crew members taught my daughter how to crochet and she loves it. She’s working on making a giant bumble bee. She says if I buy her a crochet kit and all the proper yarn she will make baby bees to hide all over the house at Halloween for me, her dad and her brother to find. She said the person who finds the most bees will get to pick four treats from her Halloween candy bowl. Ha!  That will be fun. I’m just waiting to get paid so I can take her shopping for supplies.

But overall it was quite an enjoyable trip. No sooner did we get back, I continued working on organizing and cleaning up the basement. I called Community Living and arranged for them to come and pick up eleven boxes and three big black garbage bags of clothes and household items. Feels so good to purge and the basement is starting to look livable again. I’d say one more long day of cleaning and organizing and the basement will be done!!! Excited to invite the dog downstairs for the first time since bringing him into our home. I’m sure he will enjoy the extra space to roam and hang out with us in!
